Hi dan50,

Thank you for your comment.

I understand the concern that may ensue when reading the issues posted by various Focus owners; we are diligently working to assist customers and provide the necessary feedback to Ford execs and engineers.

Hello westgadawg,

I understand your experience has definitely not been ideal so far. We would not knowingly manufacture a vehicle that is poor quality. Please know that all owners are not having concerns to these extremes and we take each and every one seriously. While satisfaction is not part of the warranty, having customers who are happy is a priority for Ford. Please continue to keep me in the loop and donít hesitate to reach out if you need anything.

Hi Kaaru,

That's a fair question and one I will try to answer as best I can.

My "intervention" comes in various forms; the primary one consist of reaching out to Focus owners with various concerns, collecting certain information, and then escalating a case to the attention of the Customer Service Manager in their area.

In your case, the first step would be to contact Ford of Canada's Customer Relationship Center and allow them the opportunity to document as well as assist with your concern. At times, I may request contact info and forward your case to my Canadian counterpart, however, I like to give the CRC first dips.

In any event, I am here to assist, as best I can, US and non-US Focus owners.

I hope this answers your question. Take care and have a great day!

Hey 6769MOPARS,

No spring break; wish I was though! I'm working my way through the threads, is all.

Thanks everyone for your patience as we work through your concerns!

Noemi

Hello Noemi,

I was contacted by Zeeshan from Ford Canada. We will try to take the focus back in the dealer again some time next week.

Thanks for your assistance in this matter.

Hello Everyone,

I just bought a new focus titanium last week. Yesterday out of the blue, the car started to shake while in park and slow speeds. It also came with loud clanks from the engine and the check engine light came on. I'm taking the vehicle in tomorrow. Are these similar issues that everyone is going through? The car has 600 miles on it.

Thanks!
Jarrad

Hello Jarrad,

Sorry to hear about your engines issues, I know how you must feel. This post however is for owner with transmission issues.

I recommend you take a look at the other forum threads about engines issues or better yet, start a new thread regarding this.

I wish you the best of luck with your new car.

The reason you are feeling what you are feeling is because there is not a torque converter, and that is the best thing they did was get rid of that out dated crap. You should have no problem at all selling that car, your loss is someoneís outstanding gain, maybe it will go to someone that respects the car for what it is. GM is waiting for you.
Seriously? The auto-trans on my 2009 Ford has been rock solid, and quite responsive given the Drive By Wire system.
