Can you open all doors with ONE PRESS on key fob on the 2012?

I think this reprogramming works for all Ford vehicles made since 2010 or so. On my 2010 Focus, I can reprogram it to open all doors at once, or just the driver's door with the first click of the FOB.

At least on mine, all you have to do is turn the key to the "2" posotion, and press and hold the lock and unlock buttons together for something like 4 seconds, and the car "clicks" twice to let me know of the change. May be slightly different on the 2010 Models... not sure, never tried on them...

I discovered in the UK manual that UK-spec cars have that feature, but I got a couple of folks on the forum here to try it on their US models, and it did not work.

also don't forget when you do this with the titaniums, grabbing the driver's door will now unlock all doors.

much better than having your passenger walk up to the door and it not unlocking for them for some reason.

Interesting thread.

I personally prefer to only unlock the drivers door with the first press. I don't want ALL the doors unlocked, just mine. If I have guests, I'll give it another push.

Getting into the car by myself in a dark downtown parking lot can be creepy from time to time, even if it is "gated". I like the security of only one door unlocking on the first press.

I do see the benefit to the other side though, and think it's cool you can reprogram them.

Now to figure out how to roll the windows down with the fob. Our Audi was reprogrammed to allow that feature. All windows down with an unlock hold, all windows up/sunroof closed with lock hold.....Oh yea, Auto up/down for all 4 windows is something the Audi does that I would like the Focus to do too.
