This happened to my 2007 Focus and dealer asked for $500. Please report all car issues to the people who force the Auto companies we just bailed out to fix our cars. You are leaving the public at risk. If your kid or a disabled passenger opens the door moving down the highway and falls out of the car because of this issue; Ford is going to pay big time lawsuits on this one. REPORT REPORT REPORT!!! Will you help each other and submit your car safety issues to the authorities? Please let me know if there is something else I can do to get FORD to Fix this issue!
You are retarded nobody bailed out ford you crybaby!

You car is out of warranty and you can fix it by stop being a dumb ass and take it apart like i said.. Or buy the new part i think its like 300 for the part its a all in one unit thats why its expencive.
Jus complaining online isnt gonna do shit...
Its gonna make ford look bad when in reality its not a common problem on a 8+ year old car
Also i hope idiots do open the door and fall out... the child lock works just cant lock the outside part... I worked for ford i did this to my car either 2 or 3 times it only happens when idiots use the indicator as a lock switch button you use the drivers/ front passenger lock key to open the locks only....
