Steering wheel's chrome is peeling

Hi, I am new in this form. I have a mk3 focus and, for no apparent reason, the chrome of the steering wheel is peeling. ¿Anyone else with this problem?¿What could I do? I'm afraid it gets worse...

Thanks in advance

I thought I noticed mine peeling the other day, so you arent alone. Not sure what could really fix/stop that though.

I noticed a very small start of a peel on mine as well. I'll probably use some super glue.

Warranty or super glue are your only options. It's very expensive to fix/replace properly. I'm getting mine dropping mine off tomorrow for this.

It seems as if Ford may have a pretty big problem on their hands with this. Has anyone reported this to get investigated for a possible recall?

If you're under warranty, they fix it free of charge. Otherwise you have to get the whole airbag assembly part (includes the trim and the center part with the ford emblem replaced.
