as the title says. These are a direct bolt in. These are NOT cheap 3M vinyl skins that are an overlay that you pay like 100 bucks for on ebay. These are REAL Carbon Fiber. and the CF isn't just draped over the bezel. This is a real skin. unfortunately, w/ the complexity of the part, it cannot be made in real carbon fiber throughout. it would cost hundreds. however, this is made w/ a quality that you cannot even tell the difference. I'll let the pictures do the talking!

Anyways, this is not a 1 day process, w/ all the layups, epoxy, sanding, clear coats, etc. it takes about 8 days to produce one of these. Also, i use the thicker carbon fiber, not the thinner cheap pieces, along w/ epoxy resin, NOT POLYESTER resin. Polyester resin looks identical INITIALLY, but will yellow w/in a year badly and will not hold its luster or strength of epoxy resin. Alot of the cheap no name ebay companies use this. cause its about 20 bucks/gallon as opposed to 125/gallon.

The group buy price on these is 95 bucks. That is if you ship me your bezel. if not, i can find you a bezel, say on ebay or whatnot, and i will add the additional cost of the bezel to the 95 bucks, whatever it will be. (I will send you a reciept for the cost of the bezel inside the box when it gets shipped to you) Then i will lay it up and get it ready to go and send you it back.

I'm also currently working on an 05-07 one, but they are proving to be MUCH more difficult.

I need at least 12. if doing 12, the cost of the CF is significantly reduced, along w/ the epoxy cause i can buy it by the gallon and not the pint. this is the reasoning behind the group buy. so i need 12 or more. if i can get 24, the cost will go down even more, but only by a bit.

Everyone don't forget that a new bezel from Ford is $40+ for SVT and $80+ for silver faced zx3. So this is a bargain considering those cheap overlay stick on kits are over $100+.

I'd be down if you could do 05-07... Also maybe some CF shift boots and e-brake boots? I have a set however the cf is fraying at the base of the shifter knob and would love a new set?
