Thanks Ray, I think I was in sunset mode shooting those. I'm really likening the camera but I wish the pics were a little more crisp but with only a 10 megapix is what it is

What's the best way to go about it? Keep it classy? A normal boring font? Or can you have a little fun with it without looking to corny?

I'm thinking something simple like "Photo by Ryan Hainstock" with the link to my Flickr underneath and offset to the right.
Watermarks are not a bad thing. If you want to keep your name on your photos, you are entitled to do that. If you do a 1000px wide photos I wouldn't do anything larger than 8-10px. Don't do anything too flashy (too much cursive or serifs) it will be distracting. And not to many strong colors either. That should do the trick.

10mpix is actually quite a lot. Many people back in the day were able to create great photos with just 5mpix. Just need to get your compositions down and the right color temp for your shots along with what the camera can handle in terms of darkness and you will be good to go.

Keep at it. You will eventually find the limit of the camer and the sweet spot of it as well.

My two watermarks are just basic since I have a photography page on FB that's why I watermark everything because majority of people will just crop or not give you photocredit. Anything I give to a client like prints or anything I will not watermark because I don't feel the need to. I really like the signature looking watermarks if you got a Wacom tablet you can sign your name like you would and make that your watermark.

Can you guys give me your opinion on this shot. Taken with my 35mm f1.8 I think I shot f3.2
I always love shots with good blur on cars because it really makes the car pop. But I always seem to get too much out of focus/too much blur. Any thoughts or criticism appreciated.

You've taken too much out of your highlights at too small of a threshold so there's a very sharp halo effect around trees and other details. The skies are way too dark and the entire photo just sort of blends together.

Positioning/framing is good, but it's a case of post-gone-wrong.

First off, love the 35 1.8. But now that I have moved on to Full Frame, I sold it and have been shooting with the 50 1.4. I still feel the 35 1.8 is a tad sharper.

On to your shot:
I think you captured the reflections great and the exposure looks spot on.
But I think you lack composition in the shot. The lower thirds seem to be disregarded, and though the car is the main focus, it honestly shouldn't be directly in the middle.
Also, you are too high, and though a great shot, it isn't anything our eyes already see. When you get lower or even change the angle more drastically, then our eyes see something new and from a view we don't see everyday. Makes a more appealing shot.

Those are my thoughts. But again, sharp image and even sharper ride.
