I think those matte strips on that GT are AWESOME!!!

But on the photos ... they are sharp. Just wish you would have gone for a drive and found a more dynamic background.

The garage area isn't bad, but you could have positioned the car either more away from them or find away to utilize the garages as a B-line to the stang. That is something called vanishing lines.

It's a term that means you use objects around your main subject to help direct your attention to the main subject.

Other ways to make it more dynamic, finding a place that really brings out the stang. Popular ones are dirt filled areas, Large open areas with nothing to look at but the stang, in front of water, on bridges ... etc.
Another way in post, you could de-saturate the background, add a bit of a vignette on the photo or create some-sort of soft blur to the background giving the illusion of smaller DOF or Bokeh.

Wow an online class used free software?!? Interesting. Is that class for photo editing? Or just tool for a different class not really focused on photo editing?

I had it my senior year of high school, yeah free software for online class haha... it was mainly about editing things, but we didn't take our own photos as much as I thought we would, mostly how to crop, rule of thirds, different tools to use, etc.

Idk I'm really pleased with the background. It could have been framed better and that drain pipe is a little distracting, but the color is very neutral and makes a great contrast against the Shelby. Despite how the background was used, My eye is still being drawn to the car. Some depth of field would be my only suggestion and that can be achieved in post if you know what you're doing.

My only real complaint is the watermark in the corner... It seems poorly thought out and is very distracting. If you're truly wanting to watermark your photos you can do it with the watermark feature in PS. If you're wanting to advertise your name/studio in the photos the design needs to be far less distracting and needs more information than just M|D because if I was just looking at the photo and disregarding any of your personal info, signature, etc, I would have no idea who took that photo.
