mikealicious, nice job with the couple.

Here are my thoughts.

On the first one, I felt the couple is more to the left of the photo than needed. Skin tone doesn't bother me too much, but I can see where that can render a never-ending face. On my computer monitor they are separate from the background fairly well.

I like the second happy faces. But his feet being cut off right under the knee is a bit bothersome. And they are a bit too centered for me.

I was also bothered by his legs being cut off.

I'm really against cutting off your subject in any situation unless you're cutting out a majority of them.. such as focusing on an eye, or a wheel, or the hood ornament like above.

yea. I hear you guys on the cutting off part. Guess I wasn't paying attention close enough. I'll make sure to focus on that next time.

mikealicious, I like that first shot of the 2. Mainly because of the skin tone not looking orange compared to the second.

The kissing shots are real cute and nice. This would have been a good time to zoom in on the kiss.

That last one is fantastic, except for the sun being right between them. It kinda makes me feel like you are trying to cut them apart with the sun. Next time put the sun behind her or him. The lens flare is great, just reposition yourself to capture the sun behind the 2 of them.

Did you not walk around more to get more location angles? I feel like we are sitting in one spot getting the photos. Makes you seem like you had no legs and stuck in one spot. lol.

Move around next time as well. You will be surprised at what you can see at different angles, even if you are in the same spot. Crouch down more, go to the other side, put them against a tree, lay them down flat, lay in the dirt ... etc.

Not to bad to start.

For your next go around, get more of an angle with the car. Don't push the car towards another car ... lol. Looks like they are going to run into each other. I know this is a test, but just saying.

Slow the shutter even more. If you are at the slowest it can go with out it blowing out during the day, buy an ND filter and go lower on the Shutter.

On your PS work, pretty good. But watch for the shadow of the pole. I see it in the Light and partly on the bumper.

Keep at it and you will get it.
