Boo hiss ... on the Mac computability. Can you not use iPhoto?

I know my iPhoto reads Raw, but coverts it to a Tiff/HighRES JPEG.

But you never know ... even a bit of light on the tools would have looked pretty cool.

And why stop just because you don't have the Coils on. Car looks good and it would be great practice until you get them. Then when you get them ... it will look even better.

I shall try that....the battery is currently dead from shooting since I got it last night lol.

You simultaneously love that lens and say that it's not sharp at all. I'm torn, because I really want an ultra wide and it's currently the front runner for me. Is it really that bad?

You can see from the picture I just posted...no it's not that bad. The center sharpness at f11 is good. It drops off near the edges. Anything under f8 is unacceptable in sharpness for me. With a pass or two of unsharp mask in PP you can see that it's good.

I don't regret buying that lens in the slightest.

Tokina 11-16 Pro.

^^ Lol ... Lightroom is awesome. But not everyone wants to fork over 160-175 for photo software.

And the Tokina 11-16 2.8 Pro is a great lens for Crop sensors to get that ultra wide with not much vignetting.

The only issue I have with third party lenses, is that it's a hit or miss on sharp versions.

Not a huge notice, but something noticeable to the advance amateur or pro photographers.

The Tokina 11-16 Pro is actually one of those that I have seen many more sharp versions than none. And gives you 16-17mm of view (in terms of conversion to a 35mm standard look) and it depends on your crop sensor.

If you have a full frame camera ... the 14mm, 14-24 and 16-85 are great lenses. Both on the Nikon and Canon sides.

But of course also are the more expensive for being glass for FullFrame.

Tokina nailed it with the 11-16 for sure. I have yet to see one that is garbage.

Im sure you can find a better deal on Lightroom than the prices you listed. ;)

One of the few non-car photos i snapped last Friday while in Chicago. This is at the McCormick Place, one of the wings that was not hosting the autoshow. I had to cut through here in the morning, snapped a quick picture on my way. Probably would have done somethings differently if I had reviewed the photo and took a few more but I still like it.
