I don't feel like quoting posts right now, but nice deal on the D7000. I got my D90 a year ago for $500 with the 18-55. I just picked up a 35mm f/1.8 in pristine condition with all of the original boxing and manuals for $140. The guy selling it bought a D7000 about a year and a half ago as a backup camera to his D3s, and decided that he'd rather go D600 and use all FX lenses. For comparison, he's selling the D7000 for $900.

Speaking of 35mm f/1.8 and D600, here's my favorite shot with that lens on that body. Even though it's full frame, there's only a little bit of vignetting. I really hope I still have the original file sitting around somewhere...

Yeah the person was asking $750 for the body and I went out on a limb not knowing he'd say yes and just threw an offer at him... Didn't expect a reply even. I was actually planning the next day to pick up a d300 but this was a deal I couldn't pass up. And yeah $900 is about what I see too. I love the d7000 haven't fully gone through it all but its super fast and that is what a love. Planning a trip to Colorado this summer so I'm pumped to use it! Yeah I'm also looking to pick up a prime lens, the 50mm f1.8 I found a few but don't want to spend more than $75, I see a bunch for 100 but I'll wait for a good deal :) And that shot is great lol
