Congrats. Good deal for a D7000.

The 7000 has the newer Sony sensor, full HD video and a half-magnasium body.

Quite durable, and also has dual SD slots, which is quite nice. I almost bought one also. Great camera. But I am opting for a D600 or D800 now.

Thanks, I wasn't even looking for the d7000 when I was looking for the d300 I came across this and went on a lim asking if they'd take 550 and they agreed so I went for it. Shoots so much faster than my d90 and d5100. Yeah I love the d800 but WAY out of my price range at this time. And the d7000 AF my sigma lens now :)

Yeah, I am looking at getting a Full Frame camera now so, I have been putting my crop sensor lenses to the side. Thinking about pushing them to the chopping block from my arsenal.

The D3s and D3 are around the same price as the D800.

The D700 is great, but I like the detail the D800 offers. I have shot with it a few times these past couple of months. Thanks to some fellow Photog buddies of mine.

Oh and I even have played with the Canon 5D Mark II and Mark III lately as well.

The Mark II just doesn't have the same quality as the D800 to me, but the Mark III is super nice. It just doesn't have as quick of an AF as the D800 in lowlight.

That's awesome, yeah if you can afford those bodies, it's definitely worth your while. Congrats and can't wait to see your photos with it :)

I'm thinking, Ill pick up the D600 and a few new lenses here in a few weeks. Ive played with it and, I'm in love. There is no reason for anyone to NOT have a D600!
