As a full time college student with a demanding part time job I simply don't have time for a 365 challenge. Oh wells.

When I go to the drag strip I usually take a ton of pics to start with then I slowly start just taking one or two each run concentrating on the shots more. It usually pays off for me at least...

You have time in your drive/lunch/the whole time your awake. Capture the pets as they run to the fresh food, etc.

Try class full time, and an over full time job.

^^ He is still getting use to the Rule of thirds. A few of us suggested that his comps here are a bit to centered. So he started putting his subjects on the left or right of the photos.

But I see the fault that can be cleaned up.

By not cropping, it forces you to learn proper framing.

Ive gone as far as to, covering up the screen on my camera and, limiting the number of shots I take before looking at the shots. So far, this is helping me get to where I need to be.

The size of the photos he is posting is clearly indicative of post-processing and cropping.

When you crop a photo with the subject at the very bottom, it creates an awful photo. I've been silent as long as I can.

Definitely busy people there ... I remember the college days and working.

A few years back when I was just getting into school, I had a full set of credits, 3 jobs (a morning shift, an afternoon shifts and an overnight - all part time), an empty lone apartment with a crap load of bills (didn't live at home) and with no help from my parents.

So, I know it's tough. But there is always sometime in there somewhere to just enjoy the days and get out and take a few photos.

Of course when I was doing all of that ... I wasn't as in to photography as I am now. First degree was in Engineering. Then fell in to Photography and Video or RTF. Yeah, parents weren't exactly happy to hear that years later.

Well we are here to help each other and other newbie photo enthusiasts. So no need to be quiet.

Everyone's opinion or comments can help another.

If I remember correctly, he is either using his cell phone or a basic P&S, hasn't upgraded to any type o SLR yet.

So that could contribute to the low size and quality compared to some in here.

Its all about capturing a moment and, you cant do that if you don't have your camera. Hence why I said, take the camera everywhere and take what you see as a good shot.
