I've always hated Tilt-Shift photos.. I never understood the point of them.

To me, all it does is blur the top and bottom of the picture and leave the middle clear. I'm sure there's more to it than that. But that's all I see when I look at one.

They are a speciality lens. I know many photogs that use the Tilt shift for product photography. That seems to one of the main uses for it.

I've been meaning to use it to miniturize a building or two in the city but had not been able to find a spot so I just went with the two cars for now.

I love tilt shift for large buildings or things that are BIG...
I also seem them used for product pictures, but the best and greatest use for them IMO is time lapse videos!
