I see what you're saying, I just never find myself taking pictures of people "on purpose." Both of those shots were the result of me carrying my camera around and capturing a moment. In the first shot, she's watching TV. That second shot is him yawning.

How about this?

That looks better. But I agree with the less scratches/overlay processing.

Wow, didn't see that in their actions. From what is captured, seem like the girl was in deep thought and the guy was yelling out you. lol.

I may know a little about cameras but that doesn't mean I take good pictures  I probably won't keep these up too long; I tend to cycle them out.

These are scans straight from the 35mm negative with one of those inexpensive little home negative scanners, because right now I'm learning about color, hue, shadows, light levels, etc. It really makes you appreciate what your local store or lab does to make your prints. These were taken with a Pentax ME Super with an off brand 28-80mm zoom, which is a camera I bought purely to flip. Not near the quality of my Contax and Zeiss stuff, but not bad.

You can see a little lens flare or something here, I'm guessing as a result of the quality of the lens coating.

This one isn't bad but I couldn't get the color like the print for some reason.

These however were transferred from 35mm professionally (taken with a Leica Minilux, a camera I really wish I could have kept):

It's a turbine runner for a local hydro plant. A small one, but something you don't everyday none the less. The camera... boy... I don't think I've ever seen a lens that was sharper or had the incredible contrast and color reproduction as the Summarit in the Minilux.
