So what current incentives are available? I got the $500 from the catalog already. They're also offering me $6800 on my 2007 Focus for Trade-in (although half of that is going towards the pay-off). What is the line I should draw between good deal and asking too much of him?
It's always difficult because you want a good deal and want him to make a fair profit. You've got $1,000 between FMC and your mail in offer.
$6,800 sounds about fair market on a 07. I took in a 2007 with 67k miles with a roof and gave her $6,000 for it. All depends on options, miles, etc.

I'd aim for $200 over invoice and negotiate down from that.

Looking for the following can you tell me if there is one anywhere near either of these zip codes?

77573 or 75023?

2012 Focus Titanium Hatch (blue candy metallic)
401A
Titanium handling package
Parking technology package (ok if it doesn't have this)
Voice activated NAV

MSRP Website: $27,270
Truecar.com build gives me: $25694 (is this invoice price?)

I own ford stock, what would be the X-Plan price for this vehicle? How do you request a pin if you own stock?

I also have 2005 Ford Explorer XLS very clean low miles (around 60K) that I'm willing to trade in, any idea as to what would be a fair trade value? ballpark? (I know it varies)

Also what are the current rebates for zip codes 77573 and 75023. I think it is still $500 cash if you finance but the truecars.com only shows some military discount. Also, hubby is a police officer are there law enforcement discounts available everywhere? Saw some folks mention that earlier in the thread.

Thanks for any help!

X-plan is 25,383.

A quick google search shows a scan of the form to request the PIN. It is located here: http://forums.themustangsource.com/f...ustang-475147/ (thats just a scan of someone's form)

You'd have to order, closest one is in Illinois or LAX. You are correct on rebates of $500 plus rate through FMC (rates are lower where you are (1.9, 2.9, 3.9, 5.9)). Military is for active service only, police rebate as follows:
2011 Police Association IUPA and NAPO Appreciation Program

To get X-plan you would probably have to contact Ford customer service to figure it out, I don't hold stock through Ford to get the X-Plan (I get D plan anyways so it would be moot).

For your trade I would look up to see craigslist to see if there is anything close in year and miles, also on dealers lot to see what they are "asking".

If you want other colors let me know and I'll let you know what there is.

You lose your bargining power when you have to order in my opinion especially if you want below invoice price.

There is a blk/blk with the options listed above at:

Name Hacienda Ford
Address 3010 West University Drive
City Edinburg
State TX

This is the only one in TX/OK/NM/AZ/KS/MO/LA/AR

My guy just told me I'm approved through Ford. The incentives are $500 rebate and 5.9% for 72 months right?
Because he's telling me through Ford it's 12.35%. Doesn't sound right to me I know my credit isn't the best but if I qualify through Ford I should get 5.9% and the $500 rebate right? Regardless of anything else because I met Fords requirement of qualified through Ford right? Or is there some way they can get the 12.35% off on me?

Thanks again for your help!

Looks like I will just have to order to get what I want. Looks like Xplan might be the way to go.
