Lease on a 2012

Los Angeles. New to leasing. 36 months, 12,000 miles. So far the best deal I've gotten is on an SEL Hatchback. 24975 MSRP (303A and MyFord Touch w/ Nav). Cap Cost 24,377. Somehow with a $500 rebate, NET is 23,877. He says the acquisition fee has been removed. Residual value 14,485.50. Monthly payment $363.40 (which is $331.11 + tax). Drive ofFor Sale: 45 doc fee + 363.40 first month + 404.75 registration + 4.39 tax = $817.54

Does this sound like a good deal? This seems like $1000 over invoice? Or maybe I don't have the correct invoice.

Thanks. This is great.

There is barely $1,000 markup so if he is selling it for $24,377 cap cost it's probably $500 over invoice since there is no rebate on a lease.
Cannot remove acq. fee, only security deposit if you purchase wear care.
Not a bad lease payment but I would see all the details because the acq. fee alone is $595 and if he is forgetting this the payment will balloon $15/month.

I don't know, it does seem like a good MF @ .0018, and a stellar residual of 58% (that's 1% higher than on my BMW) so I think as far as the lease portion goes, you're doing great. Not fond of the selling price, and have you tried to acquire one of the brochure rebates?

Not sure if any one requested a brochure via the internet. When I got mine there was a $750 cash coupon from Ford in the back. The dealer was happy with it because 100% of the money comes from Ford.

Hi imccrea
This is a great thread! I just discovered this forum last night so trying to digest all I can before I go in to buy. I'm planning on getting a Titanium Hatch unless I figure out the SEL is a better deal. Although seems like its not as I want the gadgets! MyFord Touch (Which hopefully works better than in previous cars)

I have a few questions- I'm planning on using Costco as sort of the base of what a good deal is and then either go thru them or a dealer depending on who is better.
I am also planning on trading in my Mazda 6 2003 - what is the best way to get a good deal on a trade-in?

I may end up getting the car form the dealer I originally got the Mazda from- (Glapin in LA, Ca) so hoping I can use that to my advantage?

Any advice on trading in would be appreciated.

Also as you saw above I now want to see if I can get this $750 from Ford as well for ordering the brochure- but not sure if waiting for that is a good idea- or if they even include that anymore

Again thanks for any help!

I can show you what I paid for my Titanium. (I need to look first) But the $750 is also for the Fusion. A buddy of mine just got his 2 weeks ago in the mail and is going to use ti this weekend.

The window sticker said $28,675.00 I paid 26,609-750.00=25,859

Are they still doing the $750 discount with the brochure?

Make sure you include your email address and say your buying in 0-30 days. If they're going to include the $750 rebate, they will also email it to you in a few days. Otherwise the brochure takes a few weeks.

That's exactly what I did! Hoping it comes in soon!
