I am in the process of getting my Focus on X plan pricing. It should arrive next week at the dealer. I see the 5 door Titanium is now $65 less on the MSRP and I see on ford.com that the 401A package has reduced from $1390 to $1295. I wonder if this is correct ??

Will the X plan pricing adjust down accordingly ?

Dear imccrea,
we just found the vehicle we wanted on the dealer's lot We put down a $100 deposit and they printed out a Z-Plan Deal Worksheet. We're going to sign and drive it away on Monday night. Is there any way for them to alter the price between now and then?
Thanks.

No, your vehicle was built before the price changed. Only new vehicles are affected, sorry.

Dear imccrea,

Is it possible to get the actual invoice on a car that has already been sold? I picked up my car last week and in the rush and forgot to find out what the actual invoice on my car was. I also did a few other stupid things but not for this thread...

thanks in advance.

I have a 5 door Titanium being built next week that I am also buying on X Plan. The window sticker shows the base retail decrease of $65, but also shows a retail increase of $60 for the winter package and a delivery increase of $70 since I placed the order the first of January. Am I responsible for the increases? Also, I just received a $750 private cash coupon that can not be used with the technology rebate. Am I correct that I can give up the rebate and use the private cash instead? TIA

Can you check my order to make sure it didn't get booted due to being Kona Blue?

Hey osuivan,

According to ETIS, your car has not been built yet. At this point I think it would be fair to assume that when it does get built, it won't be getting sprayed with Kona Blue. I don't know how much that color weighs on your decision, but you may want to start checking out dealer inventory as a back up plan.

On a related note. I think it's a tad misleading for Ford to continue to let customers build their 2012 in Kona Blue, Tux black, or Race Red. Ford had no trouble updating their pricing, but they haven't added as much as an asterisk or any fine print to let people know that these colors are currently unavailable.

Just a thought.

You should have price protection if your dealer ordered correctly. I believe you can combine tech & private.
