$19,980 or $19,890 MSRP?

If it's $19,980 invoice is $18,970.44.

So using the FMC rebate of $500 and the 1st time buyer they have you at $17,982??

If this is correct no suspicion at all, just have to finance with Ford. They are charging invoice plus fees. Sounds good to me.

I'm a first time buyer and want to know how I'm doing in terms of getting my price down. I haven't haggled at all, and they're way below the other area dealers, which makes me suspicious!

I'm interested in a 2012 Focus SE with Rapid Spec 201A and the SFE package.

Sticker on the car is 19,890 and I'm being offered 18,482, minus 500 if I use their first time buyer incentive or 17,982.

This is before tax tag and fees. Thanks again.

Possibly, but not necessarily. If they didn't mention the FMC rebate yet, they may not have applied it. Currently there is an approximate $500-$850 (depending on model, I think) dealer holdback, and they are probably cutting into that with their offer. Well, that and like imccrea pointed out, there are most likely some higher than average dealer fees to make that back up. Right now you would be very good to do actual invoice AFTER all dealer fees (but not including any mandatory ad fees your market may carry, or your bonus cash). Overall sounds like a good start, but your not there, yet.

1. Any idea on incentives available starting May 3rd? It sounds like my dealer
let up a slip that the 4.9% / $500 incentive will still be available.

2. On the Ford ESP site, my 2012 Focus VIN shows no ESP plan available
for my car in Utah.

3. I read a couple articles about a lot of issues with MyFord Touch. Is it
really that bad? What is your opinion of it? Would you buy a car with
it with the knowledge you have it?

1. I won't know incentives til Tuesday morning sorry. I don't forecast them changing but who knows.

2. On the ESP site Colorado is the same. Might just be a few weeks before it starts popping up.

3. I would buy a car with MFT but it does have it's issues. I've encountered climate and radio not working but navigation and bluetooth working so only half the system works. I've only encountered this on Edge & Explorer and I am really hoping the Focus will have the issues fixed. Granted the Focus is slightly different system with regard to the steering wheel and instrument cluster displays. Most customers bring their vehicles in and they have the computer reprogrammed and it's fixed.

I think this alone is a good reason to go ESP on that site, you're looking around $1,900 for a 7/100k warranty could pay for 2 visits to the dealership. I wouldn't let this deter me from buying a Ford with MFT.

This is the ask a salesman a question area, not the sales stories or bashing area!

There is a page on the Ford Corporate web site that you can check to see if your company is part of the Partners Plan. I don't recall how to find it, but it's there because I checked to see if my State agency was listed, it was not.

I don't believe this is the one then, you might have to check with your company to see if they list Ford as the only UHC listed was the one I listed.
