Aeromotive Stealth 340 in-tank fuel pump
I couldn't find any threads on this already, anyone else have one?
I just got mine in, I waited nearly 3 months for it! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If weather permits, I'll be installing it tomorrow. Otherwise it ran great before that. |

Make sure you know that you can't use a normal walbro electrical plug cause the aeromotive pos and neg are opposite of the walbro

Ya I noticed that , I'll have to wire in the pigtail anyways because its different then whats under the zx2's cannister lid. I think I'm just going to leave the stock clip there and drill a 1/4" hole through the lid and use the grammet in one of the pictures to feed the wire through. I picked that up on the way home today.

One thing for sure is the quality of the Aeromotive pump should be absolutely top notch.

Keep in mind that the ZX2 is much like the ZX3 in that you do have a return system but it is built into the cannister and returns back into the cannister 25-40% of the fuel that the pump puts out , this is done so when the fuel is low and you take off or turn corners you have fuel trapped in the cannister till fuel comes back around the cannister
With the early testing I did on my car when I took the stock pump that was falling to 28psi at 400HP and put it direct with no cannister the fuel psi held to 65psi at 7000 the cannister is a lot of the issue Tom

Good replacement but only if you want to make monster power. These will support probably 800whp.
