From what I've read on other threads, the shutters come standard on the ti trim and the handling pkg and on other trims depending on if your a cold weather state.

28.5 mpg calculated, 29.1 mpg according to computer.
70% highway but much of that is in rush hour traffic.
650 miles on car so far

Was hoping the Focus would be a 400 miles per tank car but I only got 338 on last fill up and I drove it right down to "0 miles to empty". :-) Hopefully will improve after the break in period.

After my week of commuting last week (75% interstate), my computer showed 37.5 MPG. I've got about 2000 miles on the car.

mpg

I just turned 2000 miles and have seen mileage improve much in the last 200 miles. On freeway I'm in the high 30's to low 40s and in city high 20s to low 30s.

I think this car is highly affected by driving style. If I drive easy and steady MPG goes way up and if I'm even a little aggressive then MPG goes way down.

I sold a 2000 jeep Cherokee to buy my focus. The Jeep got 18MPG regardless of how I drove so it is nice having a fuel efficient car.

Last tank: 33.2 MPG, About 60% highway, 40% city. I try to take advantage of the fuel cut off by letting go of the accelerator whenever I can (that really rocks up the fuel economy).

I'm averaging 30.9 back and forth to work. Back roads, and driving slightly agressive 1/2 the time.

I am still in the break-in period (400+) and have only driven city so far...and not just city - but city with horrible traffic that crawls during rush hour! So far my milage is sitting at about 28. And that is with the AC blasting.

Next weekend I am taking a long trip and am excited to see what milage I get on the highway!

I'm driving a 2012 Titanium Hatch with every options except the remote engine start. I currently have 650 miles on the clock and on my 3rd tank of gas. Here's what I got so far:

1st tank - 266 miles on 10.745 gallons = 24.73 mpg
2nd tank - 318 miles on 11.814 gallons = 27.60 mpg
3rd tank - 100 miles traveld so far and computer reads 32mpg

I drive about 375 miles a week with at least 325 hwy miles. I'm not super happy with the mpg I'm getting now but it does look like its getting better so I'll wait and see.

I have a SE 5-speed manual, 330 miles on it

First tank of gas about 50/50 city/highway

AC Blasting

33.7mpg

Filled it up with 93, and as the car breaks in I expect those results to improve.

mileage

i agree that the better mileage occurs after the care has some miles on it. That said... i picked my SEL up at the dealer 3 weeks ago and, w/ only 6 miles on the odo, drove it home 50 miles... Granted this isn't a very accurate indicatior of mileage but i got 39.8mpg driving for 50 or so miles on secondary hiways at a steady 55mph w/ the a/c on.

Since then my around town mileage (no hiway at all) has avg'd 30.0 even.
