Ahh - so that's less than 80km/h...too slow for my blood, but I may take this up as a challenge at some point! One thing the focus has helped reinforce is the fact that city driving is absolutely terrible for gas mileage. I can see why someone living in a city would want a hybrid/EV.

With just a little over 900 miles on the clock at the start of a 840 mile round trip, I averaged 35.+ mpg for the trip.. saw as high as 38.6 to as low as 33... Hand calculations at the end of the trip yielded 35.3mpg. Speeds ranged between 60-75 on I-10 across TX and a little of LA... Compared to my F450 where I was getting 15 on a good day driving 55 on the same road (and paying 3.80gal avg vs 3.20gal avg), I am a happy camper..

I've put 4300 miles on mine and avg. 33.7mpg. I drive 84 miles round trip highway and would expect higher maybe after first oil change this week!

I have a SE Mar 2011 build with close to 18 k miles. The gas mileage has been steadily improving. On a trip this past wk to the Oshkosh airshow from michigan my entire trip average based on actual use was 43 mpg. (actually saw as high as 46 mpg on display)I do baby it and keep it under 65. My buddy who has a Prius was very impressed!
