5 2012 Focus at Dealership...Gone

I just went down to my dealership as they apparently had a few of the Focus' in, and I wanted to see for myself how they are.

When I arrived I was talking to my Sales guy and he was going to show it too me but wasn't sure if they had any. I said that on Facebook they had posted that they did.

He said that they received 5 at the end of last week, but they all went out to Discount Car Rental. He said not to get him started as all the sales guys were ticked that their first order of cars went right away to a rental place.

So now I am stuck waiting for their next shipment which might not be until the end of April.

Funny I just saw the other thread about a convoy of 5. Maybe you should call Discount and rent one for the day and take it on a nice hard test drive. When I bought my Hyundai the dealer told me they had to rent an Elantra they sold in order to have something for test drives.

Posted via FF Mobile To be honest I wouldnt bother. It seems all the early ones dealers are getting are base S trims...which us what the rental and fleets are getting, which is why the S model exists in the first place, and to be able to say the focus starts at such and such low price. Just wait for a better one, like a titanium. I dont think if I hoped into an S Id be like GOTTA HAVE THIS NOW! Actually kinda smart for the dealers to get rid of them. Imagine tons of people going and checking it out and being like...this is the new focus, thats it? Compared to if they came and test drove an SE with sport package or, got into an SEL or Titanium...there reaction would be very different Im sure.
