Thanks ... but I don't believe the DGR Coilovers will get me to where I want my suspension to be.

List of formidable cars I beat at one event on RAW TIME on this A6/prokit/koni/PSS9 setup:

03 mini cooper S
03 SRT4
CSP miata prepared to the rules
08 S2000
02 WRX
08 GTI
08 Evo
02 Porsche 911 C4S (it was his second autocross, he got 1 sec better than me on a fun run)
08 350Z
thanks man ... Yeah, I have learned over the past year or so that I have become better as a driver. This would be my 2nd Full year but have been doing it for 3-4 ... just off and on before. This year, I have been full blast at every event. And looking to do Divisionals as well to get my feet wet there. Gonna wait on the national runs.

No, like Pete said, do dampers before springs. While I admit a stiffer spring could help a car resist rubbing, I think the H&R's are lower than the Prokit... so I don't think it will help very much at all.

Yes! Thank you, I forgot to list rolling the fenders in my post... Ray, if you are just trying to stop rubbing, then obviously that is the first step! I was able to stop rubbing on lots of different sizes, including the OE 215/45/17, with soft stock SVT springs, with just some rolling.
Thanks for the info again.

So, I will wait on the springs and put that money aside and by next month I can get the Koni's. I will also work on rolling my fender more. I rolled them a bit last year, but I think it's time to get drastic.

Thanks for the info guys. It really helps get me to understand what I need to do in order to move forward.

I am getting closer and closer to the 2 that run the civics in my class ... they are fun to catch. I was only a second down this last regional run. Much better than the past.

Yes Sir ... and it makes me proud to get closer and closer to them.

Some of the new 350/370Z guys are asking how the hell I am able to stay faster then them ... my little car has handle and just plain consistency at attending the runs.

Is legal, here it is (sway bar section from stock class rules):
13.7 ANTI-ROLL (SWAY) BARS
A. For front anti-roll bars:
1. Substitution, addition, or removal of any front anti-roll bar(s) and
supporting hardware (brackets, endlinks, bushings, etc.) is permitted.
2. Substitution, addition, or removal of anti-roll bars may serve no
other purpose than that of an anti-roll bar.
3. The use of any bushing material is permitted. A bushing may be
implemented as a bearing.
4. No modification to the body, frame, or other components to accommodate
anti-roll bar addition or substitution is allowed except
for the drilling of holes for mounting bolts. Non-standard lateral
members which connect between the brackets for the bar are not
permitted.
B. Rear anti-roll bars may not be removed, replaced, or modified in any
way.

Now regarding with how important it is, well, we know stock endlinks aren't that good, and I've read reports that adjusting the endlinks so you have no preload is they way to go for front end feel. Just haven't done this myself...

Sweet, good to know. I might look at some nicer endlinks if mine need replacing again. Right now I have OE or Moog up front, I don't really remember.

I got a ridiculous deal when I bought my Konis. All 4 for $520 shipped, BNIB, in the FS forum on here not too long ago (last September). http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=239497

Just keep your eyes open for a good deal, or just buy them now. Paying full MSRP wouldn't even be a bad deal for what you get.

If you find the right shop (race shop) you might even be able to get a dyno-matched set. Basically they buy a bunch of them, run them through a shock dyno, then group the most similarly performing dampers together. This kind of service is normally only available for a lot more $ than the Koni MSRP

Also, until the end of may tirerack has koni's on sale for $154 each for front and $117 for the rear. So, it makes it 542 for four new koni's.
