Just dropped and debadged my baby


I just put H&R Sport lowering springs on my 2012 Titanium Tuxedo Black hatch on Saturday.

Tips for anyone thinking of doing this themselves...front, make sure you disconnect the brake line bolt. This holds the whole caliper/brake assembly so you can't drop it down off the strut far enough to drop out the spring. Back, detach the sway bar. Aside from the obvious bolts, this will help the back springs drop out in 15 minutes or less. I'll post some higher quality pictures later. New wheels coming in June or July!

If anyone's interested, the initial drop is about 1.5", but will be more when it settles over the next couple weeks. It rides stiffer, but not obnoxiously so. Debadging was easy...just used a hair dryer.

They're Axis XMX 18". Check Tire Rack, they have em.

As I promised earlier, here are some more pics of the H&R Sport lowering spring drop and debadging of my 2012 hatch.







Just ordered some FR decals with CF background/silver lettering to cover up the stock blue emblems. It's gonna drop a little more as the springs settle. New wheels coming in June (18"s)
