I've been using Menzerna polish along with Jeff's Werkstat on my GTI with great success, but that FK 1000p has your paint looking so great I'll pick some up.

Kudos.
I felt the same way. I wanted Sonic blue, but the only one in that color with the options I wanted (all of them...lol) was 2000 miles away. But after seeing the Sterling grey I'm really happy. I'm picking up my Sterling Gray on Tuscan Red Titanium today, hopefully. Incidentally, my F-150 is the same color.

Now that's clever! Liking the treatment you did with those winter wheels.

Done with spray cans. One color can and one clear can for each wheel . :)

^^ Wow! What's that color called? And what wheels?

And the black foglight bezel: did you do that, or do they COME that way? (I bet they come that way, as yet another example of how Europe gets the better deal from Ford than we do...)

My 2012 Titanium Hatch

Always been a truck guy and have been driving a Dodge Ram 4x4 since 2005 -- but a new work commute forced my hand to shop for a vehicle a little more economical. Been hearing a lot about tech at Ford with Sync and MFT via Leo Laporte and the TWiT network and decided to drop by my local Ford dealership to have a look. Found this loaded Titanium Hatch (in the perfect color!):

(sorry about the glare... it was late in the day)

And basically this is exactly what I had in mind -- spent a couple days thinking and negotiating with my salesman and eventually agreed on a good deal for him and me. First stop was a local RackNRoad shop for Thule AeroBlades (Permanently mounted):

Anyway, love my new car and don't miss my truck as much as I thought I would. Glad I stumbled across Focus Fanatics too -- already browsed everywhere and as a result bought an engine cover, a NuShield MFT screen protector, WeatherTech mats, and a Hidden Hitch is en route (for a bike rack). Cheers everyone!
