Figured I may as well ask in this thread since the most mk3 owners go in here. Does anyone know how to remove the two rear reflective plastic lenses on the rear bumper of the 2012/2013's?
Also is there anyway to remove to front top grill to paint the chrome?

My dinky little 15" wheels had me lusting after my wife's 17"ers. Even though this is a lease, the plastic hub caps had to go. I picked out the least expensive (read: cheap, made in China) wheels listed at TireRack, and just had them put on last Friday. I feel MUCH better.

Before and after photo here and below, much more info here. I guess I've just broken the modification line...
Looks much better!!! By the way, I was your service advisor last week. If you ever need anything, let me know.

Will.

Wow. Just a quick and cheap fix but it looks way better.

Yes, get under the bumper. The reflectors are held in with clips. They are a little bit hard to get out. You just have to show them who's boss!

They're just the 16 inch 7 spoke wheel covers over steelies. But I painted them black with a satin clear coat. I think they actually look really good considering they're just wheel covers. Can't buy new wheels as I have a baby on the way, haha.
