09 Coupe Activities

Nothing too exciting here, just because I like to take pictures and post while I tinker.

The focus is my DD and will definitely not get the attention the mustang does.

Wasn't the SVT I was looking for, but I couldnt pass up something 5 years newer, tasteful mods, and low kms for cheap.

2009 focus se coupe. 5 speed manual
magnaflow exhaust - usually Im not a fun of 4 cyl noise. This actually sounds very nice! I was impressed
short throw shifter
Steeda intake
eibach? lowering springs - perfect amount for looks and hopefully winter drive-ability.

The car's paint isn't perfect... but its good enough.

Paid $100 less then I sold the 04 mazda for

Sway bar end links were the first to replace.
We'll see how moog does, might need massive ones.

Then rear

Then fog lights...

Then had some fun with plastidip

Black with a bit of silver metalizer.

Gun metal with silver metalizer

How it sits today.

Woot another vista blue guy! Nice car! Wish I didn't have to run a front license plate here in NY. The front end looks so much better without it. I've heard nothing but good things about the Moog end links so I think you'll be good. You should pick up a grease gun though so you can pump some more grease into your end links every year or two. That ensures they last as long as possible since I know our front end links don't usually last too long comparatively.

Good to see another enthusiast!

I agree, very happy no front license plate :) The mustang especially look really bad with them.

I have a grease gun and there is a bunch in them right now :) Probably grease them every oil change.

Nice '09! Surprisingly, I don't see too many gen 2s around here.
