Good point, didn't even think of that. Guess we should be looking to mainland Europe importers?

For the love of god, please don't put HIDs in the stock reflectors

Jost then outlined the shared DNA with other Ford products. There will be a parts program available through Ford Racing, just as we do with the Mustang. You’ll be able to put ST parts on base cars, for example, and Mountune is developing engine tuning parts for the car that we may bring to the US.

Since the Focus ST comes with the Euro LED/Xenon headlamps they should be available to buy. More waiting!!!

I wouldn't call it complicated, but perhaps unnecessary for the US market. I will say that I used to have rear fogs on my Jaguar, and while they're cool, the fog here in the U.S. isn't nearly as bad as across the pond, so they're a pointless option that would drive up costs.

HID headlamp leveling, while nice and less time consuming than DIY leveling, most Americans go to the dealer for changing a freakin' light bulb, so no need to provide controls for leveling their own headlamps.

I wonder if the lights from the Electric Focus would work. They are HID's with LED's (at least from what I have seen so far).

I use tonhave rear fog lamps on my Mini Cooper S. $100 option, Ford could make it a cheap option.

Well if anyone with the black bezel headlights (like the Titanium ones) wants to swap with the chrome/al looking ones from my brand new SE I'd be more than happy to throw some $ into the trade...

I realize the concept of both of these options are Foreign to most people in the US.... the Rear Fog lights is a great option... we do have thick ass fog here in Indiana, so they would be a welcomed option. I have had them on many of my cars, if not stock, they were added. and the Headlight levelling is a great option as well. when you load down the back seat or trunk with lots of weight, you can adjust the headlights down to be in alignment to where they need to be instead of blinding the rest of us... all of you who have seen pickups all loaded down with the light blinding us will agree to that. I think these 2 options would be a very nice addition to our cars.
