It was likely $3200 total, not per side, I was going from memory - although you could just substitute ridiculously expensive and be accurate.

Yeah, I think I'm going to content myself with my Titanium headlights "as they are" and maybe just get those high-end Sylvania bulbs, not a lot of money and on my SuperDuty, they really light up the road well.

Skip the Silverstars, they are rated to shit.

Go get either the Philips ones or if you can find them the Osram Nightbreakers.

The Osrams are the ones I got on the Superduty. Osram is Sylvania (like Mercury is Ford).

I believe you got that backwards. Osram is the parent company of Sylvania, and the products are not the same. The Osram Silverstars are a 50+ bulb where as the Sylvania is a blue coated bulb that actually has less true light output due to the coating.

No, they aren't, Silverstars are fully blue coated and have less output.

If you have Silverstars you don't really have Osrams...they are the cheaper Sylvania version.

Osram Nightbreakers are their own product, Osram as a company still operates on their own overseas. Osram Sylvania is primarily the Americas.

Read most reviews, Silverstars and the zXes get crapped on whereas the Nightbreakers score consistently higher.

You're probably right, then reverse my statement, Sylvania is Osram.

I got Osrams. I didn't remember the name after 4 months, I remembered them as being high-end sylvanias (because the reviews mentioned them as being so); I did read the reviews, that's why I bought them (Amazon). Osram is not a household name that pops into mind. Although I'll probably remember now, having typed it this many times.

EDIT: And I might add, I don't go for the blue business, I like those Osrams on the Superduty BECAUSE they're just white, not blue. I'm guessing about 4300k, not much yellow in them at all, but no blue.

I was looking at the ford parts website and i did find stock hid headlight assemblies but for the both of thm you would be looking at upwards of $4500 for the both of them so for right now i will be swaping mine out for the titanium black bezel assemblies until i find some for ALOT cheaper.
