First of all they are in Canada where the price is higher for everything. It was well over 2000 per corner for each housing for the Focus Electric and the ST isn't that much less here in the states if you check fordparts.com lately, so if its 2000 or so here then 3200 or so in Canada sounds like the usual mark up given a 25000 ST1 costs close to if not over 30k in canada.

I wish I misheard them. I clarified several times. suss6052 was dead on by mentioning the cost of these things in Canada. WAY more expensive.

I'll keep checking the aftermarket lights and get by with the little LEDs that I posted the link to in my previous post. Hopefully those won't look too cheap!

Has anyone actually contacted ford about WHY the price of say the ST3 HID headlights is SO crazy high?

Maybe if we show them some interest they'll bring the price down to a reasonable level.

Hell, I'd be willing to pay as much as 700 for the set. Love those lights.

. Really?! They won't listen about the clunk issue, but they're gonna listen about a price on headlights? You get on that and let us know. Sorry, I'm a bit cynical...

A lot of is would love those lights. Unfortunately, Ford isn't the answer.

The BEV versions are $2159.78 each for the complete assemblies or $1777.78 USD for just the housings alone at list price. It seems like Tousley Ford has them available for only 1425.46 each for the complete assemblies. That's almost reasonable by comparison to the list price but still far too much to invest in the conversion unless you really love them.

The ST versions are currently listed as you need to call first, but I don't recall them being listed for that much less.

Given the mark up/ higher price in Canada it could very well be 3200+/corner
