Yeah – sorry I stated it that way. The only reason I really want them is for the DRLs – and I’d probably be willing to shell out a good $400 bucks a piece… but $1600? Not going to happen…

I agree, the Titanium headlight assembly costs about $280 bucks
even with no projectors, no HID, and DRLs I think the difference is enormous

I don't understand why anyone would actually want DRLs. My last car had them and the first thing I did was crawl under the dash and disable them. That being said, I'm going to Germany in June and just got the bright idea of having my girlfriend see if she can get in touch with the local ford dealer and see how much a set of these are. We wouldn't have to worry about the cutoff of the beam being the wrong side like a light from the UK/Australia. If the price isn't too outrageous I will have to seriously think about it.

Make sure you write down the VIN from a eurospec veh. They look up parts by VIN. Also, hook up with a military service member, they can get a VAT form for you and take off the 19% tax they charge which is already included in the price.
