The new ST version is supposed to get HIDs right? Hopefully it becomes an option for the Ti at the same time.

Not sure if anyone has noticed, the European headlights don't have orange side reflectors in them. From what I see, there aren't even white reflectors. These are required for sure in Canada, and I'm quite sure in the states, to meet safety/MOT standards.

I want those headlights too, but I wouldn't want insurance to walk away when there's an accident all because of a detail like that... but it happens. :(

I'm going to hold out for the ST as well.

After watching how badly some kid working under a tree in the back of the dealers lot (he was termed an "independant certified technician") struggled trying (he eventually gave up when he found he was trying to install a non-compatible 2011 in a 2012) to install the "dealer installed remote start" . . . I'm not about to allow a dealer (at least any I've found yet) to even think about going through the conversion attempt.

For now I'm running PIAA Extreme White lights in the low beam, high beam and fogs and that'll be fine until the ST arrives.

Hi, front reflectors aren't a driving requirement here in the UK.

(my first ever post)

Hi,
Couldn't help but join the thread. I was wondering whether where one could obtain HID housings, I've read the thread but couldn't see where one could buy these. And secondly the housing comes with white LEDs, does anybody know what kind of leds these are? ie, Luxeon, SMD LED, 5mm dome LED, etc? if its possible to change the LEDs to a different colour ie amber colour?

Any help is highly appreciated

e.

If you accept to delivery cost, I may send you. I asked my dealer to sending overseas, he is not accepted. He is oldstyle man. :)
I am not dealer or something like that, If you want I may order for you from my dealer and send you. But I think, delivery cost may be too much because of package size.

Maybe this has been said already....

But it looks as though the ST headlights are the same size as the other 2012's so those of us over here in the US/Canada could likely just order a set of ST headlights for our cars?

Could be sooner than later now.
