2012 Ford Focus Euro Headlamp Availability

I am curious how many people would purchase Fords Euro LED/HID headlamps for their 2012 Focus.
We have not had any confirmation from a Ford Engineer in regards to their compatibility, but they appear to be about the same.

*If they were available, that is one of the first things that I would do!

When i went to order my Titanium, I was very specific about getting the HID/LED headlamps put in. I even showed them the Picture from ford.ca and they said its not available.

Pic from website:

I asked them to look into it for me and apparently they couldnt find anything. So i said dont advertise things and then not offer it at dealerships.

Any clue in how i can get this?

When Ford first announced the 2012 Focus, it was to come with the projector lamps shown in the picture. However, it was later taken out of the North American model (Europe still gets it in their Titanium model).
The only way to get this is to order it from a Ford parts store in Europe, or wait until they are available on ebay, as far as I know.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I doubt any dealer here will be able to get them from North American FORD.

Correct. All painted surfaces on the focus are identical worldwide. Assuming there is nothing blocking the light from the rear (like the Fiesta) then they should fit. It is definitely high on my list of modifications.

The big question is going to be When and Where can we get them. I'll probably end up ordering them before I even order my car.

I hope that this won't cause warranty problems.

What bothers me the most is that they are still adverstising the car with HID headlamps and LED's on them.

I definitely will be doing this mod when I can find these, affordibly. It ads a lot of agression to the front end.

It should also be noted that this is not advertised as an option or anything. Sure you can find a few pictures now of them still kicking around, but they all have disclaimers saying "Production model may differ".

The majority of North American pictures (like 95%) show the headlights that we will be getting.

While it sucks that the dealer can't get you these parts, I don't think he should be chewed out, when they don't actually advertise it as available.

Correct me if I am wrong but do the titanium head lights look tinted compared to a SE Trim package. I have this proprietary document from Ford that list all the option codes, show what is compatible with certain colors of the car. Doesn't say anything about HID/LED head light, tint on the titanium edition and models with active grille shutters. The edit date is January 3rd 2011.

Titanium

The cost of buying them, shipping them and then getting the dealership to install would be out of the roof.. Any idea's on costs?
