Good Focus Tuner in Portland Oregon

Hi, I'm new to FF. Just picked up my first Focus SVT. I am looking for a good focus tuner here in Portland, Oregon.

I need to register and DEQ the car and the exhaust is WAAAAYYYY loud so I will have to change that and It is throwing a CEL p1518 IMRC which was removed so I ordered it today to put it back on. It is also throwing a P0171 and P0141 codes. One is a LEAN/Rich code and the other is After cat O2 which is due to the ORP on the vehicle.

My car is tuned for the track and needs to be set up for street. I don't know who originally tuned the car. I got if from Ford Racing SVTOA and it is VERY well done but there are lots of unknowns as far as what parts are on the car.

Here is what I know.

Mods Engine
Vortech Supercharger HO with Aftercooler
ORP
Stock Wrapped Headers
Magnaflow Muffler with Exhaust 3" pipe all the way
Fuel cell
VC Vent Oil Catch and breather
IMRC/DSI control module removed (code 1518 and I looked and it's gone)

Injectors Unknown
MAF Stock I think
Fuel pump in Cell Unknown

Thanks for any help in advance

Ryan

I'm not aware of any tuners around here that tune the Focus, especially an SVT. There are several good Mustang shops, and one of them might be able to help you out, but I'm not sure if they'll have to retune from scratch or can just figure out a way to turn off the CEL's. I suspect most will want to just retune, and in that case, you'd be better off going with a remote tune from someone like Tom.

Since you're already getting the IMRC, it may be cheaper and easier to just get a MIL eliminator for the ORP, and see if you can figure out how to correct the lean/rich code. Do you have a scantool to reset the CEL's?

Gregg

I would do a Remote tune with Tom (1TurboFocus). He has tuned several foci on here mine being one of them. I took mine to a local mustang shop to start with, cause I wanted to "know" my tuner. Well my car lasted a week and popped the motor.

Been running with tom's tuning ever since (2006) no issues.....

X2, or have FSWERKS build you a remote tune or drive down the coast and have them do it. Only tuners other than Top Speed, McNews, or Fernando that I would trust but obviously you are on the west coast so Randy at FSWERKS FTW!!!! The best and most customer oriented remote tuner in the Focus game
