I am SUPER suspicious about the "Beyond Clay." It's a liquid product meant to be applied via buffer. The whole point of a clay bar is to suspend the contaminants in the clay bar after lifting them off the paint surface to prevent further marring. If you replace the malleable clay with a liquid product applied via foam pad, the contaminants merely get stuck in the pad and swirled around on the paint! I don't understand how this would be ANY different than getting something like M105 and forgetting the clay. You'll be accomplishing the same thing...grinding more dirt and contaminants into the paint.

Quote:
And unlike a clay bar, Beyond Clay never scratches your paint, and its 100% safe for all surfaces, including clearcoats
But the question is HOW. It is known how claybars work...

The other stuff just sounds like run of the mill product.

I have to give a thumbs up for Meguiars Mirror Glaze #20 Polymer Sealant... your local NAPA can order it in from warehouse.

Eagle One Gel Wax

I've been using the Eagle One gel wax and it's great. Easy to apply-you don't wait for it to dry before you easily buff it off. It seems to last well and you can sometimes get it free with rebate coupons in car magazines.

I tried that Eagle one, I thought the Turtle wax Ice was better than that. But I am really liking this AutoGlym HD wax. It just rained here and I swear the car is cleaner, the rain washed the dirt off with hardly any spotting.

I had read over on Autogeek that some WM Supercenters had Autoglym in the clearance section... I found one locally last weekend for $20... I looked like a double pack... anybody that has a pkg verify?

It's a black box that has the wax tub as well as two sponge applicators and a red MF towel. I really like the sponge applicators FWIW.
Looks like this:

Yep... that is the packaging that I saw... I dont know if I will have enough cash this weekend to pick it up... promised my daughter that we would pick up a spring dress before the sizes get picked through... her HS band will play the HS graduation ceremony at the end of May... no uniforms... dress clothes only.

I would definitely say it is worth the money. Hell I paid $15 for the Ice stuff, I have used this on 2 cars, twice on mine and hardly any of it is gone, It really goes along way. Waxing once a month it should last 2 yrs.I would recommend it over everything I have used, with that NXT 2.0 a distant second. But I do like the combination that I used of the NXT 2.0 fist , I left on the entire car for 30 min. before buffing and then the Auto Glym on top of that. Thanks for all your advice.

No problem. Do me a favor though. Hit the #21 under my name on the left and gimme a rep point if I'm helpful! I love me some rep points!
