My little project 56k maybe

A while back I had bought a svt front bumper form another member on the site and the weather is finally starting to get nice so I decided its time to get it all prepped and painted so here is the progress so far. I didn't take any pictures when I first got it so they start after the first night of sanding.

This is after tons of sanding what it looks like right now just letting it dry and then its time for the primer to go on.

After a long day of sanding, yard work, trips to lowes and autozone, helping people at lowes load bags of dirt in their cars, and laying around 1000lb of rocks the bumper is finally all primed. Now i am just waiting for my paint to get here and it will be time to finish it.

Thanks and I ordered the paint form autobarn just waiting for it to get here and I will put more pictures up when i get it all done. I can't wait to get it all done and get it on the car! I also ordered some lamin-x for the fogs because they are kind of hazy and wouldn't clean up.

It might be worth it to use the 3M Headlight restore kit on them. Then put the laminx on to protect them.

I used the 3M kit on my headlights and it worked wonders. I also have laminx on my headlights and fogs.

I tried to sand them with some 600 grit sand paper and then followed up with 1000 grit and use some polish to make them shine and it didn't work like it did with my headlights on my last car.

Yeah maybe try some 1500 or 2000 and polish again, or you could always buy new ones. Unless they don't really bother you that much.
