door locks never stop

Greetings to all;
I have a 2000 SE that I absolutely love/hate. after reading many post's I am still at a loss. Every time the ignition is turned on all my door locks CONTINUE to lock and unlock until the car is shut off. I do not have a key fob never have since buying the car. No changes to anything just started happening one day about a week ago. And it is soooo annoying. Someone got any suggestions, please.

Sounds like a shorted wire, loose ground or a faulty switch in the driver side door. Checking would involve removing the driver side door panel and testing and checking wires...

The short could even be in the wire that travels to/from the door to car body.

cut the wire?

so took the panel off the side like you said. one black wire there. would it hurt anything if I were to just cut that wire? And Thank-you so much for the quick reply.
