I havnt done any engine work , but I did some suspension upgrades. I installed the Massive Speed Camber and Toe arms and the rear SVT brake kit.

Well I still havent had enough time to work on the new engine. But I did get the Ingalls Stiffy installed with the stock passenger side engine mount. The urethane mount vibrates so bad it drives me mad. Has any one ever run a stiffy with the stock mount? Seems to work pretty good. So far..

OK car is up on stands in the garage. Old engine and trans almost out.
I will post some pics tomorrow of the progress. Putting the head on the new engine tomorrow also. Should have it in in a couple of days. But you all know how sh-t happens. But every thing going smooth right now,, Last edited by iroc34; 06-15-2011 at 11:46 PM. |

Well of course , nothing can go according to plan. When I had the head ported and the bigger valves installed, the cams were supposed to be clearanced as well. As I was checking to make sure, they are way off. So now I am redoing them . So there is 1 delay. Hope fully the tappets out of my old engine will work. I mean they weren't even close. Gonna have to call the engine shop, and see WTF.
