Ya I heard the lightweight flywheel can cause a chatter noise but more often I read bout other ppls installations they don't hear it. Mine might be a case of shitty transmission mechanical installation job

Well roushturboedzx3 had his flywheel come loose. I used ARP bolts . I used ARP lube under the head , and Loc- Tite on the threads. I don't want to take the trans back out.

Yesterday hit 150 miles. So I dumped the break In oil. Put new Valvoline 5-30 dino in. New Motorcraft filter. Running very good. Getting used to the clutch. Today its over 100 degrees ln STL . Car runs 190* , with the 180 t-stat. I have been concentrating so much on the engine in the last few weeks, that I didn't even notice or hear for that matter. I had the right rear brake pad completely wear out and eat the crap out of the rotor. Never heard it or felt it ? Must be the caliper hung up, or the e-brake not releasing all the way. Never felt like it was draging. The SVT rear brake kit has been on for quite some time. Rock Auto to the rescue. New rotors and pads on the way. I'll have to inspect the caliper when I take it off. More work to be done. It never ends.
