OK I also ordered a set of cam cap bolts from Massive Speed. Those reverse Torx head bolts are junk. Dont know why they use them at all. Now regular torx are OK. But what ever happened to good old regular nuts and bolts???

Yes! I quit counting .LOL. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel though. A few odds and ends. Some wheels and a paint job. And that should be good for a while.

Well , I took the head to work. And swapped a lot of buckets. Valve clearance should be good to go. Very close to .010 on the intake and .011 on the exhaust. Won't get to work on the engine until Monday. Gettin antsy ! I want my car back.

I've got a cast log manifold like you do, A Couple things im not too impressed with is that its impossible to unplug the crank sensor & its real close to the crankcase vent. Is yours like that? I can't tell from the pictures.

Yes it is close. I put a turbo blanket on it. And not one problem. I am using the Jay Racing breather on the block to a home made catch can.

OK , I redid the valve clearances. Here`s what I came up with. That`s a lot of bucket swapping ! Will get a lot of the engine assebley done Wed, Thurs and Fri.

This was the before Set up: I dont know what the shop was thinking ?

And this is what I set them at now :

Comp said .010 on both intake and Exhaust. Tom said better to get closer to
.011 on the exhaust.
