Hah, I'm glad someone understands what I was getting at. I was starting to think people would think I'm trashing the Focus. I'm not.

lol it'd be really bad if you put on a shift knob with the 1-5 grid on the top

Haha, that would be hilarious. I might get to work on that. Or maybe even a 6.

Blasphemy!

It's fun making the Focus go fast, but I prefer to be realistic. The Focus and SVTf are great performers for their class, but it's no Lotus.
a lot of the sh-t you are saying i can agree with you on . but insurance wise what is the svt focus under? sport compact is what my insurance has told me and there was a diferenc in the price as well. that is the main reason why i got a 07 zx3 ses. if it realy is under SPORT compact wouldnt that clasify it as a sport car? SVT that is

Sport compact is just a term used to describe popular "tuner" cars nowadays pretty much. Agree to disagree then.

hahaha ok anyone who puts a 1-5 shift knov on their automatic is lame and if they want to drive stick then they need to learn.

and yes, any ford SVT that is "sport tuned" will cost more insurance wise.
but they again if you're a boy it costs more as well.
insurance companies will do anything to make you pay more and if that means calling your car a sports car then they will.

no offense.

OR STORM!

Oh, and the dictionary defines a sports car as:
a small, high-powered automobile with long, low lines, usually seating two persons.
(which is exactly what the PWNAGE-GENERATING STORM is all aboot: raw, unadulterated, uncensored, unedited, undead, unbridled, undertaken SPEED!)

He never once mentioned that he wanted it to look like a manual. I'm very happy for you that you have a 5-speed, you are obviously so much better than us auto trans folks, I'm not even worthy of posting in the same thread as you.

Now, back on topic. Does anyone know where to purchase one of these knobs, preferably with an O/D button?

I understand you're a newer member. Simple words of advice, Don't go picking fights. It's immature and self-degrading.
