hey i getting ready to buy a focus sport programmer from a guy , he said that i need to check a code somewhere on the car to make sure it will work where is this code located ? and what if the codes dont match do i stilll buy it ? thanks

i found the code its
GTK0 which doesnt match his , is there a way to change the programmer to work for me ?

yes you can go to focus sport's website and they can redo it for $150 so it will work on your car

You first need to make sure that the xcal is not still locked to his car , No if his ECU code is not the same it will not work on your car

You could call or e-mail them, thou. I believe they can do it for you. How much you getting the flasher, for? & is it Xcal3 ?

he wants $80 for it , its a Xcal 2 is it worth it ?

$80 + $150 = $230 Thats half the price of a new SCT tool and a tune.
