my titanium was built on i think the 27th, just called customer service, it's 'in transit' and the ETA is May 16th to Massachusetts.

I'm thinking 2 weeks is pretty long for transit, but that's normal from what I've heard I guess. Anyone have any idea on how accurate ETA is for actual transit time? Why 2 weeks?

I was curious about this to. My Focus is in transit now, and the ETA is May 8th. Does that mean it will be at the dealership on that day, or just when the train arrives in state? I'd like to get an estimate of when my car gets here so I can get my insurance policy setup when I pick up my car.

Ours ETIS was on this morning as well, built April 29th. From what I know of the rail cars from MICHIGAN to Toronto it takes between 4-10 days, standard terms from what I've been told.

ETA is when it arrives at the dealer, and usually they are pretty accurate.

As for why it takes so long, there isn't a train the runs from Wayne to every point in the US. Your car will probably have stops in 5-10 transfer yards along the way, and has to be hooked up to previously scheduled trains. So a transfer could be a few hours or a few days, til the next train headed in the right direction. It's just the way the train network works.

Just made my account, been scanning the forum since I ordered my Red Candy Titanium in Feb. though.

http://fordlabels.webview.biz/webvie...HP3N25CL145036

So excited that the big wait is reaching the end point for a lot of us on here is seems.

My car was built on the 28th and the Etis has been updated. I am just curious as to what customer service you called and if you have the number, or you are just referring to your dealership?

Okay.... I finally got my VIN# from the dealership. I have a window sticker, but my ETIS doesn't have much information. I'm confused, though. I ordered my car on March 10 but ETIS says my car was built in February.

My VIN# is: 1FAHP3M27CL151339
Window Sticker: http://services.forddirect.fordvehic...HP3M27CL151339

Your window sticker says your car was build on 2011,04/29
Also, your ETIS says your build day was 02.05.2011 (MAY 2nd)
