Post For 2012 When You Get a Vin#

Just held my first title. My dealer just plain rocks. Showed me everything on the computer telling that the car will be in in just a few weeks. He let me take a Candy Blue SE Hatch for a drive. Even though it's manual, and SE, I'd be happy with this car. I know I'll be VERY pleased when my black titanium hatch comes in.

And he confirmed I get X-Plan. Even better.

So if I understand this right, my price will be invoice price??

You're going to want to get them from Germany, not the UK. On the subject of blinding people, you'll need LHD lights to see anything.

4% over invoice is X-plan. Combine that with the $750 private cash coupon and you'll be right about invoice.

This thread has gotten a bit off topic but I know this happens on forums like this.

Guess I'm missing something here with these. I find it amusing that people say these stock lights are not any good. If you drove a car from the 50's and 60's I could see after dark without any problem. The current lights are far and above much better then what was available back then. I don't see a problem.

I ordered a titanium hatch on 3/28/11.
My dealer emailed the vin on 4/15/11.

I've been checking etis at http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleSelection.do, but there's no information except build date "30.11.0002".

I've also been checking for a window sticker at http://services.forddirect.fordvehic...HP3N21CL151433, but there's nothing there either.

Are there other places I can go for information about my order? Build date, etc?

My vin is 1FAHP3N21CL151433.

Your window sticker will post about 7 days prior to the build date. Info in ETIS will post after the vehicle has been built.

I *just* got an email from the dealer. My build is scheduled to begin 5/4/2011. I guess I should be seeing a window sticker any time now.

Called my dealer today to see if there was any progress for the first time since I ordered it on 4/3 , and he had the vin. Nothing in etis, but here's the window sticker: http://services.forddirect.fordvehic...HP3n23cl145424

I'm so glad I called today, the window sticker says 0120110427 at the top, which if I'm not mistaken means today is my baby's birthday! So glad I didn't miss it.

From what I'm gathering, all Titaniums get the active shutters, and there's no mention of PZEV on my sticker. So for once in my life, I think I'll get EXACTLY what I want :D :D :D

In disappointing news, its raining in Michigan. Is it sad that I'm watching the weather in Wayne to see what kind of weather my car is experiencing?
