No - next week and the week after are already 'locked in'.

And really, they do a pretty distributed blend (a SE and a Titanium may roll off as neighbors. The only reason there is a huge block of Titaniums is because they release the build hold on Retail titaniums, so all of them were scheduled in the first available slots. But now that they are building all trims, you are should be built within a month or so. ~3-4 weeks is the minimum time, due to how far out they schedule the line - which they have to, so they can let their suppliers know which parts to have at the factory when.

In all seriousness, it doesn't work that way. The don't build cars based on model, it's based on when the order comes in. It also depends on your dealers allocation. If they don't have any allocation to order cars, your order won't be accepted until they do. Allocation includes all models, so if your dealer has exhausted their allocation by ordering SE's, they won't be able to order your car until they sell the cars on the lot and it's their turn again. I believe from what I've read (no insider info here) allocation is on a weekly basis. From what I understand, allocation is set up so some dealerships don't have a monopoly by having all the cars in a region and cars can be distributed evenly. High volume dealers get more cars allocated to them.

However retail orders do take priority over stock orders. If a dealer is ordering 10 for stock and your order is pre-sold it becomes a retail order and given a priority of 10 out of 50.

If the dealer needed a car for say a car show he is then given a priority of 1 and thus the first car with those specifications off of the assembly line is allocated to this.

Your dealer can have the regional manager change the priority form 10 to a lower level under the circumstances.

It is also possible if your dealer had ordered 10 titaniums for stock inventory and your order comes up, it should be produced first as it is a retail sale with a customer waiting before their 10 stock orders are fulfilled.

Now saying that mine was started march 9th and finished on march 18th but still sitting awaiting to be shipped.

Allocation is weekly.

Your dealer should be able to give you a fair estimate. If they're allocated for Focuses, and you're the first retail order, then it'll be in fair time.

All the magic numbers lined up in my favor and it was TWO MONTHS or me to get one. Allocation was just right, but the demand is high, so it's taking the whole estimated two months to get here. I should see it within the next 3 weeks... or maybe even longer.

Just think... you'll get to save money to make a bigger downpayment!
