However, while you can still tell it is not a standard auto, it is very acceptable to me. Mileage has increased from mid to upper 20's on mixed driving, admittedly "spirited" driving, to low 30's on the same type driving. Saw 38 on the highway on a short trip, 34 on a longer 2 1/2 trip just after turning 1000 miles on the odo. Hope you have good luck with yours. I can really tell a big difference in both power/performance/mileage now vs brand new.
Cool! Glad you are settling into yours nicely.

Got home last night and shut off the Beltminder and the autolocks, switched Betty out of Novice mode, and removed the rear headrests.

I have the OE bugshield and door visors in their boxes. Can't decide if I'll use 'em or sell them for the in channel ones. OE rubber mats are in plastic too. Looking at the Husky's for that and for the rear cargo liner. That full size spare does sit up quite tall. Might just have to find a donut and it's thinner foam to bring the load floor down a bit.

I've had my car by the paperwork since 5/1, but wasn't able to pick it up until 5/3 with 18 miles on it. 3 From when it came off the truck, 9 from my test drive, and 6 or so when they ported and prepped it (yes I'm a little confused as to why it took 6 miles also, but they didn't start the warranty clock until 33 miles, but they started it based on the paperwork going through on 5/1/12). And almost a month later I have just over 800 miles on mine. But unfortunately some idiot had scraped my rear driver side door, as well as someone else putting a dent and a scratch into my right front passenger door . I put the most miles on it the first weekend I had the car, and since then have settled into generally just commuting to and from work. I had put close to 300 miles on her the first weekend.
Yep, we do a lot of driving!!! In fact, the day we picked her up, my wife had a test to take for an entrance exam to N.C State (another Masters degree for job!!), and we had to drive for that. Torrential rains and wind and by the time we got home, we had nearly 200 miles on the car the first day!! Started at noon with only 9 miles, and ended the day around 7 pm!! I did see one little ding on the door edge that had chipped the paint and I don't know if it was like that when we picked it up or got done at the window tinting shop. Not too noticeable, only looking from the rear or when door is open. Makes you sick though!!

I really wanted some form of bugshield but can't stand the look of the Ford one. The magnet bra looks better but can't convince myself it wouldn't damage or fade paint. For the door visors, I ordered some of the Weathertech ones but they won't have any in stock until mid June, although the site never said they didn't have any! I am leaving Beltminder on and we like the autolocks with family. My Southern English ( I call it proper English!!) is keeping me in Novice for the time being. The rear headrests are not an issue for us. I am using the winter pkg floormats but may look at some different ones for the front as these seem awfully short and do not cover the carpet where your left foot rests!

Appears to be scheduled for tomorrow 6/5/2012 build according to the window sticker that goes with that VIN.

If so an eta of a week or two from then might be expected.

Thanks, I didn't know of that link. That's great, I have the best anniversary present ever to give my wife... Hey, I had a car built for you today!

Ordered my black titanium with painted alloy wheels on 5/3 and have an ETA of 6/18.
The dealer didn't give me a VIN, but I'll ask for it next time I talk to him.
