ETIS tells the build date, and the major/minor features of the vehicle. Right now my ETIS report for my car has 30.11.0002 as a build date, which is non-sense. I'm told this is because Ford hasn't officially registered the VIN in their system, but in due time it will register (alongside the sticker generator). About one week out from the build date (when the car blends), the VIN and ETIS info will be active and accurate (hopefully).

I'm sitting in limbo vehicle completed March 18th but not yet shipped. Very interesting that you can check on Canadian cars if you have the VIN.

I'm in a similar situation. My car was build Feb. 15, but no report on shipment. I think the general consensus is that the MFT issues held them up, but supposedly they're on the move now. But still no confirmation of this.

I guess we'll just have to keep waiting,

Just heard back from my dealer and still no build date, but he said he expected to get one this week. That's frustrating given that I placed my order Jan. 13 and people in this thread who have ordered MFT-equipped cars later than me appear to be receiving their VINs and build dates.

Another note...I think someone earlier in this thread said that he was told that Ford was having problems with delivery companies which might further delay him/her receiving their car. My sales manager just gave me the same information.

What's fun for me... my dealer (Jack Demmer) is literally across the street from the factory and I've got no date - nuttin'. So all I need is to have it built. I can walk across the street and 'deliver' it to myself :)

Hey, anyone from here have a SEL and the polished alloy wheels (the optional ones)? Somewhere on some board I had read these may also be a material delay. Anyone have insight?
