To add to this thread, we placed order on March 1st, just got VIN today nearly 6 weeks after ordering and looks like it will be scheduled for week of April 30th. Could actually be a May build!!! Probably will be mid to late May before it comes in, so that will put it around 10 weeks for us!! Stinking allocation issue.

Did you order a manual (5speed)? I ordered my SE Hatch with 5 speed on February 28th.......

I just got off the phone with my dealer and he informed me that there has been a run on the 5speeds and that because of that they told him my car will not be scheduled untill at least April 26th. Now I am just hoping I can get the car before June, which is looking to be optimistic at best?

Nope, got the DCT. When I ordered, there wasn't an option for the manual with the Titanium. There is now, but probably wouldn't have gotten it. We'll see if our luck holds!!

Called Ford customer service after I saw your post. I got a VIN too! Ordered on 3/19 and it's scheduled for week of 4/30 as well. Since we both ordered a fully-loaded focus, I guess it's more of a planning/material issue than allocation.

Grappone Ford in Bow. Nice folks. They give you a free set of OEM tires if you have all the service done by them. Better price than Autofair.

Yeah, AutoFair is awful, got treated like dirt for asking them to match a price from Best Ford.

Can't wait to get my Focus, enjoy yours, maybe we'll run into each other.

Good for you!! Our dealer is a small one and since they had only sold 6 new Focuses since December, they had a lower allocation. At least it appears ours should have the new 4 way head restraints!

nhemti,

I'll keep an eye on black Titaniums. Do you happen to know some good clear bra installers in the area?

electech,

My dealer told me mine got the allocation 2 weeks ago with no build date, which is uncommon. I've been speculating that they were either short of some components or trying to build fully-loaded ones all at once. The fact that we have the same build date confirmed that. Another evidence is that the build date is usually the week after the VIN while ours is 3 weeks out.

It's like we're getting a 2012.5 focus because this model year is so long and there's been a number of changes. (DCT/MFT upgrade, 4-way headrest, E85 capability)

Plug your VIN after the =

If an error happens, it's probably coz you don't have a sticker yet. I waited about a week till they had the sticker ready.
