I was told today that my car had a build date of Dec 19th. How long have people been experiencing from build to delivery at the dealer?

Mine was ordered on Nov. 16. I just called Ford Customer Service and they said it was delivered to the dealer yesterday. I haven't received a call from the dealer yet but will go over latter today to find out when I can pick it up. Dealer said 4 - 6 weeks when I ordered it and it is just 6 weeks.

what is the ford customer service number you called? Do you need the vin number or does the order number give them enough to check the status?

Mine took 6 weeks from the day I ordered to delivery.

The first time I called I had to give them the order no., Dealer name and location, my name, etc. Then they called me back with the VIN and status.

I did go to the dealer. They said the the car is on it's way, probably will be there tonight or tomorrow. Said they didn't get any deliveries yesterday. Said the car was on a carrier about 50 miles from here. Probably cars for more than one dealer on the truck. Ford Customer Service must of confused dealerships. If I get it in a day or so it will be two weeks from biuld date.

Mine came in 4 days when I ordered in Toronto back at the end of Aug.
Car arrived in under 4 wks!
(Of course, they probably could've checked over the paint job more closely instead of rushing it - paint was missing at 2 corners of the rear bumper, and my rear wiper arm clip was damaged from a strong-armed assembly line worker - I would have rather have waited an extra week :) )
