I just picked mine up. It's my first manual car and the drive was a bit stressful, caught the tail end of rush hour. Also the center caps for my wheels were missing, they ordered them a few days ago.

Ordered my Titanium Hatch on Oct 4 and got the Vin on Oct 15 . The car was built on November 2 and I got the call from the dealer yesterday and will pick it up today. Exactly 6 weeks from order day to pick up day...Not bad. They said six to eight weeks.

I'm jealous! My dealer told me 10-12 weeks just to be on the safe side, but I got excited when my car had a build date of 10/13 and dealer info showed an ETA week of 10/31. It's been over 4 weeks since my build date, and no indication my car has left the factory yet. I don't understand what could be delaying mine so long when other cars are shipping.

If it was me, I would be on the dealer. He might be covering an error in ordering or some other mistake. Call Ford customer relations and see if they will help.

Window sticker and ETIS show correct build info. Have been in contact with Ford Customer Service and have been told there is delay due to constrained availability of carpeting. There are only two colors of carpeting and two body styles for the Focus, though, so that hasn't really satisfied me as an explanation for this long a delay. I'm not seeing Ford hold up shipment of all 5-door Foci w/ charcoal black carpeting for over a month. Dealer has been good but hasn't been able to get any good info from Ford either. Seems to be lack of communication from production.
